Your privacy is important to us. That's why we only collect and retain as much information as is needed to provide you with the experience you expect. We may update this Privacy Policy in the event changes are made to the nature and treatment of the information we collect.
This Privacy Policy covers how Unicorn Dream Factory LLC ("we" and "us") collects and treats information when you use the Cookooree website ("website") and Cookooree iOS app ("app").
When you use the website and app, you accept and agree to this Privacy Policy.
Collection, Use & Sharing of information
We collect information when you visit the website, interact with the website, and create a Cookooree account on the website. We use this information in many ways, including:

To improve Cookooree
When you visit the website, we automatically receive and record information from your computer and browser, notably software and hardware attributes. We use this information to get a general sense of how visitors are accessing the website. This information contains no personally identifiable information.

We count the number of visits to the website to understand what's popular. Visits are anonymous.

When you visit the website, we may set and access cookies on your computer. This allows us to record information to deliver a more personalized experience. Only we have access to these cookies. Like any cookie, you can choose to clear them at any time via your browser's settings.

When you create a Cookooree account on the website, we record information, such as your screen name and the recipes you added to the service.

When you create a Cookooree account on the website, we record your preferences, such as the recipes you elect to bookmark and the email notifications you elect to receive. For example, you can elect to receive an email notification when someone has adapted one of your recipes. You can control which email notifications you receive by clicking on Update Account in the account menu in the upper right. (You must be signed in to access this link.)

To service your Cookooree account
When you create a Cookooree account on the website, we may use your email address to deliver service-related email, such as a password reset email in the event you forget your password.
We collect no information in the app other than the recipe information that you add.
Sharing Information
Cookooree doesn't display any advertising, and thus we don't engage in the collection and sharing of information with regard to related activities, such as targeted advertising.
We do not rent, sell, or share information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies except when we have your permission to do so (e.g. posting information to your Facebook profile from the website) or under the following circumstances:
- In response to subpoenas, court orders, some other legal process, or in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal, suspicious, or potentially harmful activities in violation of Cookooree Terms of Service or as otherwise required by law.
- In the event we and/or Cookooree is acquired by or merged with another company, at which point we will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
This Privacy Policy may change for any reason, including in the event we are acquired by or merged with another company.
